From what we gathered via the order, only staff of EFCC are allowed access into the premises, while withdrawn police personnel from PMF 21, 44, 45, 46 and 50 must report to the Force Headquarters by 8am on Monday.

However, the security officials in the official and private residence of the embattled acting chairman of the EFCC, Ibrahim Magu, have been immediately withdrawn and all vehicles in the official house in Maitama, Abuja taken along.

It should be noted that, Ibrahim Magu was arrested on Monday and has since been facing a presidential investigative panel over alleged corruption and insubordination. He has been detained since his arrest on Monday, at the police facility in Abuja.

On Friday, the Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, SAN, announced the approval of President Muhammadu Buhari to suspend Magu from his position to enable “unhindered investigation”.
