Nigerian Ministry Of Foreign Affairs Steps Into Tems & Omah Lay Arrest In Uganda

The Nigerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has finally stepped into Omah Lay and Tems situation due to the public outcry by several Nigerians in response to their arrest in Uganda.

It could be noted that Nigerians took to Twitter to call for the release of the singers following allegations of disobeying COVID-19 rules in Uganda by performing at a concert. 

Omah Lay had earlier made it known that the Ugandan police had restricted the Nigerian ministry of foreign affairs from intervening in the situation. 

Tems and Omah Lay are currently remanded until Wednesday when they will be produced in court for further hearing of the charges pressed against them.
