Cindy had experienced harsh criticism after she took to her online media page to lambast the Nigerian vocalists for performing in the nation while local artistes are languishing in hunger. She was angry that while Ugandan artists starve and some even in colossal obligations because of the limitations, Omah Lay and Tems had been permitted to act before a large crowd without social distancing and face covers. She proceeded to consider him an idiot and a nitwit for posting photos of the occasion on the web.

Accordingly, Cindy kept up her ground and said that nobody has the option to go to her nation to support the spread of the Covid-19.

She wrote: “Nobody has the right to come to my country and encourage the spread of corona no matter who you think you are. People are dying every day and if you have any respect for human life you will stay home or sanitize and wear a mask in a crowded place. May all your curses and evil spells return to you in Jesus name Amen#CoronaIsReal#NoRegretsHere#GodIsFaithful
