Popular award winning Nigerian hit maker, Wizkid has set a new record on the Billboard world album chart.

Wizkid has just broken yet another record for the longest-charting album in Billboard world album chart this decade.

Wizkid ties Burna Boy‘s Twice as tall record of 12 weeks on billboard world album chart last week, he set another record of the longest Nigeria album in US billboard, spending a total of 13 weeks and still counting this week.

He peaked at number 2 in the first week and currently at 11, rising to one spot from the previous week at 12.

Billboard world album chart is the statistic of album sales in the US, it depicts how well an album sales, he was also a longest-charting album in UK official album chart at 4 weeks in this decade surpassing Burna Boy twice as tall of 3 weeks, it is also the only Africa album on the chart.

‘Made in Lagos’, the critically-acclaimed third studio album of Nigerian superstar musician has earned the title of the longest-charting African album of the decade on Billboard after spending thirteen weeks on the Billboard Album Music Charts.

This has been confirmed from the official Twitter page of his manager, Jada Pollock.

”Made In Lagos has spent 13 weeks on the @billboard album music charts. It’s the longest-charting African album this decade”, she tweeted.

Wizkid had also made it known in a recent interview with This Day that he does not go around trying to explain himself whenever something controversial about him has been let out to the media.
