Speaking in Kontagora after revalidating his APC membership at the Alkali Mustapha Central Ward, Sani- Bello said although people are entitled to their view about the ongoing exercise, the APC means well in embarking on such exercise.

According to him, the ongoing party revalidation and registration exercise is not meant to favour or work against any member of the party, stressing that it will not witch hunt anyone.

“In a democratic society like Nigeria, you expect people to express their view but the truth of the matter is that the process will not favour or work against anyone.

“Since 2015, many people have left the party, some have even died and many want to come to the party.

“Again, since that time many youths have attained the age of 18 and want to join the party. This is the reason for this exercise.”

The Governor assured that as the Chairman of the Committee of the realisation and registration exercise, he is ready to resolve any problem that may arise from the exercise and ensure it is hitch-free.

The flag-off of the exercise in Niger State was witnessed by Senator Isita Izunazu in charge of North central zone and Senator Domingo Abende in charge of Niger state.
