Real Madrid goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois has highlighted Ferland Mendy’s last-ditch goal-line clearance as a key point during their 3-1 win over Manchester City in the Champions League semi-final.
Courtois conceded four times as Los Blancos lost 4-3 in the first leg at the Etihad.
However, Madrid produced a stunning comeback at the Bernabeu, despite Riyad Mahrez giving City the lead.
Rodrygo scored twice, while captain Karim Benzema converted a penalty in extra time, as the LaLiga champions booked their place in the final where they will face Liverpool.

“This team, this club is capable of anything, we believed until the end.
“Mendy made a key save on the line, I did too, we made it 1-1 and then 2-1 and they were dead.
“We were better in extra time. We had to defend well and we did it. Incredible,” Courtois said.
