‘They Were Throwing Bombs, Shooting...About 100 Persons Were Killed’ – Eyewitness Accounts On Owo Church Attack As More Graphic Videos And Photos Emerge

REMALOADED STUDIOZ earlier reported today that Owo Catholic Church in Ondo State was attacked by unknown armed men with sophisticated weapons who stormed the church on Sunday and opened fire on worshipers leading to the death of an unspecified number of persons. 

So many lives have been lost and many families are currently devastated and confused. However Channels TV made it known that an eye witness has given an account of what took place in the church.

 According to the eye witness, the gunmen stormed into the church and started shooting immediatly killing about 100 persons leaving over 25 persons unconscious escaping before soldiers arrived the scene.

Further more, the governor of Ondo State has made it know that people of Owo local government had enjoyed peace over the years, saying the attackers must be fished out and prosecuted.

“It is a black Sunday in Owo. Our hearts are heavy. Our peace and tranquility have been attacked by the enemies of the people. This is a personal loss, an attack on our dear state.

“I have spoken to the Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Ondo, Most Reverend Jude Arogundade, who is presently on his way to Owo. Similarly, I have had to cut short my party’s national assignment in Abuja and visit Owo immediately,” he said.

The governor commiserated with the families of the deceased and the entire community.
